ElectriServ, a national electrical services provider is recruiting for a Data Technician to join its Rotorua based team. This is a permanent full time position.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Undertaking the installation of data cabling systems including Copper and Fibre Optic networks. This includes installation, terminating and testing.
  • Undertaking fault finding and repair of data cabling networks including PABX building cabling.
  • Provision of onsite and third party support to our customers, in aspects relating to PABX, router, switch ups, workstation, point of sale, WIFI and server equipment.

To be successful a candidate will require the following qualifications and experience:

  • Certified cabling installation qualifications
  • Associated vendor specific training in PABX, Router, Switching
  • I.T. hardware software qualifications
  • New Zealand Citizen or Resident or hold an Immigration NZ approved valid Work Visa
  • Current Unrestricted NZ Drivers Licence
